My name is Denise, Co-Founder of Pryde Pets™, and cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. So, it feels right that I’m now creating a community of cat lovers and dedicating myself to enriching cat’s lives. I had the incredible fortune of sharing 20 years with my beloved feline companion, Phoebe. It took me seven long years after her passing to welcome another cat's companionship and special affection into our home.
That's when Mustang, a handsome and mischievous Tonkinese, became a part of our family. Little did I know that his arrival would introduce me to the challenges and joys of living with an indoor-only cat.
A Change in Perspective:
The cat's I'd lived with previously had the freedom to roam outdoors, exploring, climbing, hunting, and scratching to their heart's content. But Mustang, as a pedigree cat, was intended to be strictly an indoor cat, as insisted by the breeder. This lifestyle change caught me off guard. I now had to find ways to keep Mustang entertained and physically active within the confines of our home.
