For Co-Founder Denise, it all began with a profound connection and a desire to make a difference in the lives of indoor cats.
As a lifelong lover of cats, each feline companion has left an indelible mark on my soul, filling my days with joy, comfort, and unconditional love.
But it was a special bond with two extraordinary cats that forever changed the course of my journey.
Fuelled by Love
After losing my beloved feline companion of 20 years, Phoebe, I was left with a void in my heart.
But when a handsome and mischievous Tonkinese named Mustang entered my life, he helped me rediscover that special joy and connection only a cat can offer.
Cats Are More Than Pets
With his playful spirit and insatiable curiosity, Mustang reminded me of how the love of a cat can completely transform a life.
So fuelled by memories of Phoebe’s love and Mustang’s incorrigible spirit, this was how Pryde Pets™ was born.
Because cats are more than just pets; they’re cherished members of our families. And I wanted to find a way to honour that bond by providing them with the finest, most enriching experiences within the walls of our homes.

Denise is a cat-loving Australian Designer and Photographer. She’s worked on residential, commercial and hospitality projects, always bringing an innovative and fresh approach by blending function with style.
Throughout her career she’s designed various custom furniture pieces and high-end luxury fit-outs. Her design super power is maximising space. She lives in Sydney with her husband, daughter and cat Mustang.
