How do they attach to the wall?

Our Wall Meow-nted Cat Climbers are designed to be installed securely into Gyprock (drywall) or solid brick walls. Please note, we intentionally don't include fixings/bolts as different building materials require different solutions. You can get some great advice and source the right ones from your local hardware store like Bunnings.

And the REALLY good news: installation is easy! If you can hang artwork, you got this! We provide detailed instructions with pictures (see our Product Manuals page), so as long as you’re handy with a power drill, spirit level, and stud finder, you’re good to go!

But if that's not your thing and you're looking for a helping hand, we recommend reaching out to Jim's Handyman, Hire-A-Hubby or HiPages for local service and reliable workmanship - they're pawsome!

How much weight can they hold?

Our Wall Meow-nted Cat Climbers are built to withstand all the playful energy your cat can throw at them. Designed to support up to 12 kgs of dynamic weight, our climbers are perfect for all the leaping, pouncing, and flying feline fun your cat can muster!

How do I care for them?

One of the many purrks of our patented design and the special type of felt we use (crafted from 100% Recyclable PET bottles—talk about eco-chic!) is its paw-some ease of maintenance and durability. Here’s how you keep it looking meow-nificent:

Caught your cat in the act? No problem! If the felt gets soiled or experiences a territorial spray, simply wash it with mild detergent in cold water. Then, lay it flat to dry in a warm spot—just keep it out of the clothes dryer to avoid a cat-astrophe!
For minor stains or scuffs, spot clean with a damp cloth or soft brush.
Banish stray fur with your favourite pet hair removal tool—yes, even that trusty lint roller works wonders!

Can they be used outdoors?

Our Cat Climbers are designed for indoor use, however we know of some creative folk who have installed theirs in an outdoor catio space and they've been fine! Our own recent testing has revealed that while the felt retains it's form (which makes sense, given it's made of 100% recycled plastic bottles - not wool) the only challenge is our harsh Australian sun which may fade the colouring over time.

What are the benefits of adding Facades to my Pryde Cat Climbers?

As well as looking super stylish, these Facades are a great way to add extra security and protection for your kitty as they climb to exciting new heights. Especially important if they’re (ahem) slightly clumsy.

Initial impressions

Although I have yet to mount the shelves, I am SO pleased with the quality. I wasn’t sure what the material would be exactly - and it’s hard to describe - but it’s like a felt-carpet hybrid. Perfectly soft for cat paws but VERY sturdy.
The shelves themselves are also great quality- sturdy but fairly lightweight.
I also appreciate how the delivery was compact and sustainable in its packaging.
(Once I get a replacement battery for my drill) I’m looking forward to mounting them!

We bought this cat wall playground to replace the wall system we already had & are so glad we did.
The team at Pryde Pets have really thought about the design & the materials it’s made out of. We love the fact there are no sharp edges or corners on the shelves too, and the fact it’s made out of recycled materials is a 10/10 for us.
Our three cats are of different ages and weights and have no problems climbing the wall playground.
